Pha Lat Temple
History / Highlight
This temple was build in 636 years ago.
In that time, King of Lanna do a ceremony of random location
for building new pagoda.
He put a Buddha Relic on the back of white elephant
and let white elephant walked around the city.
Finally white elephant climbed up to Suthep mountain.
On the way to top of the mountain (Doi Suthep temple)
White Elephant was stoped walking for 4 times/4 places.
Pha lat temple was the second place.
That's why they were built this temple here.
This place quite peaceful that you can enjoy a nature
