Phra That Doi Suthep Temple

This temple was build in 636 years ago.
Once white elephant climbed up here. It sang for 3 times.
and walked clockwise 3 rounds. Then, It was lied down.
Kue na King decided to build Pagoda in this place
and put Relic of Buddha under the Pagoda.
It is a signature of Chiang Mai. That's why a lot of people want to visit this place for both Thai and Foreigner.
It is high above sea level around 1,046 meters.
So, the weather is cool all year round.
Highlight is view point that you can see a whole of Chiang Mai city from there.
In every year, (Big Buddha day in May) Chiang Mai
will set up the tradition of walking up to this Temple.
More than 10,000 people will walk together (11 km.) in the evening and spend the night there until early morning.
