Ku Tao Temple
History / Highlight
This temple was build in 407 years ago.
Due to Chiang Mai use to take over by Myanmar for 200 years.
Now a day still have Burmese live around Chiang Mai area.
That's why you can see some Myanmar temple here.
Burmese monk has different color of robe. It is red-brown color.
Thai monk is Yellow - Orange.
Highlight is “Ku Tao Pagoda” which is beautiful and looks different
from other temples. It is completely Myanmar style.
This temple is a center community for Burmese people around here.
Burmese people quite strictly about Buddhism more than Thai people.
In the Buddha day, you can see a lot of Burmese people come here
to do ceremony of Buddhism. It will be crowd here on that day.
