Umong Temple

History / Highlight

This temple was build in 633 years ago.

Actually almost of ''Thera monk'' always do practice of meditation 
by themselves on Mountain(Same as Buddha)

They live in forest and cave.

In that time,we have one of Thera monk. His name is ''Thera Jun''

 that the King of Lanna very respect to him.

King need to discuss about dharma with ''Thera Jun'' all the time. 

But, it is difficult to find him.

So, King decide to build this temple for him.That's why this temple 

quite peaceful and have tunnel that look like a cave.

This temple also have meditation center that accept both Thai and 

Farang (foreigner) come here to learn basic of meditation.
